Really looking forward to Samantha and Jenny’s wedding in the Redwoods this weekend! Here’s a few shots from their engagement session just outside of Pt. Reyes Station.
It’s been a busy spring, wedding season is starting up and I’ve been spending days out in the garden to get a break from all the computer time. A few weeks back some friends and I headed down to Pescadero to Harley Goat Farm, a small but gorgeous working dairy that offers tours of their facility and the chance to cuddle their baby goats! They have over 100 babies, they’re so cute everyone was losing their minds, myself included.
Absolutely worth the beautiful drive down, but don’t do what I did and wear nice clothes! (I held a baby goat anyway because BABY GOAT.)

This is one of my favorite events to photograph, the Edwardian Ball gets better (and more crowded!) every year. People really bring their full costume game to this event, it’s really a special place.
I was fortunate to work with the Mystic Midway to document their installation ‘Stories of Gold’ and here’s the result.

Second shooting a wedding for a friend, this gorgeous couple braved the winds of Hyde Street Pier for some portraits.
Happy Halloween! One of my favorite holidays. Costumes, candy, little kids having fun, and all the witches come out during golden hour.
The gorgeous and talented Laika Fox jumped in front of the camera for a session in Mountain View Cemetery.
Last year we roadtripped up to Portland to photograph a wedding and made sure to carve out a bit of time to stop into New Deal Distillery for a tasting. Of course, we walked out with half a case of their bottles, including both gins because I couldn’t decide which I liked best. In particular I love their ginger liqueur and the ‘Mud Puddle’ (vodka infused with cacao nibs) is particularly delightful.

Newborns are so wonderful! They sleep, and eat, and sleep again.
I loved this little guy’s dapper outfit and his super proud big sister made this Sacramento family session lots of fun.
